A shocking story of a Kenyan woman may dampen women's obsession for hair weaves, a noticeable growing trend. The woman was fitted with a maggot-infested hair weave taken from corpses, which gnawed into her skull. Irene Myangoh, a personal assistant working at a law firm in Nairobi complained of frequent headaches two weeks after she got a human hair weave done. The headaches kept her up whole nights and all medications to reduce her pain failed.
