LifeSci Advisors, LLC (LSA) Publishes ADCETRIS Survey Results

11/1/2011 11:15:34 AM

NEW YORK, Nov. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- LifeSci Advisors, LLC, a leading provider of investment research and investor relations services in the life sciences sector, today announced that it has published an independent survey of 79 hematologists on their current and expected use of ADCETRIS (brentuximab vedotin). ADCETRIS is a CD30-directed antibody-drug conjugate from Seattle Genetics, Inc. (NasdaqGS: SGEN), which was approved by FDA in August 2011.

"Based on the results of our proprietary survey we anticipate that ADCETRIS sales will continue to grow as more hematologists adopt the product for their relapsed/refractory patients," said Andrew I. McDonald, Ph.D., Managing Director at LifeSci Advisors. "The academic/major referral center physicians expect to treat a median of 3 patients with ADCETRIS next year and community physicians expect to treat a median of 1 patient per year with ADCETRIS."

Dr. McDonald's full Survey Report is available to download at no cost at the LifeSci Advisors website, http://lifesciadvisors.com/marketresearch/.
