Life Technologies (JOBS) Intends to Lay Off 150 Employees

VC Star.com -- Life Technologies Corp. plans to begin laying off 150 employees May 1 as it proceeds with permanently closing its Camarillo facility next year, according to the company. The details were disclosed in a WARN letter dated Feb. 11 to the city of Camarillo. The biotechnology tools company confirmed last week that it was closing its Camarillo operation, but provided little other information for a Feb. 12 story in The Star.
