LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Southern California Biomedical Council (SoCalBio) has announced that Leroy Hood, Ph.D., of the Seattle-based Institute for Systems Biology, and George Bekey, Ph.D., of USC, will keynote the 9th SoCalBio Investor Conference. This annual event -- which showcases emerging life-science technologies and companies from Los Angeles County, Orange County, the Gold Coast, and Inland Empire -- will be held June 7, 2007 at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
