LI-COR Biosciences and Aloka Co., Ltd. to Conclude Distribution Agreement

LINCOLN, Neb. and TOKYO, Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- LI-COR Biosciences and Aloka Co. Ltd. announce the conclusion of their distribution agreement for LI-COR Biotechnology Products effective August 31, 2007. This decision reflects the strategic direction of both companies and enables Aloka to concentrate on its own product line. LI-COR has appointed M&S TechnoSystems Inc. to distribute LI-COR Biotechnology Products and provide all customer service and support in Japan effective September 1, 2007.

On January 20, 1950, Aloka was established, under the name of "Medical and Physical Institute Co., Ltd." wholly owned by Japan Radio Co., Ltd. (JRC).
