Leon W.M.M. Terstappen, MD, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer for Immunicon Corporation (IMMC), Appointed Chair of Medical Cell Biophysics at University of Twente in the Netherlands

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Immunicon Corporation (NASDAQ-GM:IMMC) announced today that Leon W.M.M. Terstappen, MD, Ph.D., its Senior Vice President of Research and Development and Chief Scientific Officer, has been appointed Chair of Medical Cell Biophysics in the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Twente, Enschede, the Netherlands. Dr. Terstappen will remain in his current position at Immunicon but will devote approximately 20% of his time to academic activities at the University.
