Leidos Names Steven Russell Senior Vice President For Sales And Strategic Accounts

RESTON, Va., Dec. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) a national security, health, and engineering solutions company, today announced the appointment of Steven Russell as senior vice president for sales and strategic accounts of Leidos Health, effective December 1, 2014.

Russell will be responsible for the sales and account management teams, who will partner with existing and new accounts to achieve client satisfaction and drive business development opportunities for hospitals and health systems. He will also be responsible for achieving the organization's revenue goals, developing an optimal account management strategy, and retaining a metric-driven sales organization.  

Prior to Leidos, Russell was the senior vice president of corporate development at Quantros Corporation, where he was responsible for SaaS-based products for patient safety, quality management, and analytics as well as new market and business development activities, consulting services, product strategy, and strategic partnerships. He has also held senior sales and corporate development roles at companies such as Cerner, Aperio Technologies, Quadramed, HealthScribe, and Compucare.
