Lead In Chinese Cold Remedy Poisons Toddler
An herbal cold remedy called Bo Ying Compound has been associated with the lead intoxication of an 18-month-old toddler in New York City and consumers and caregivers are warned not to use the product. The alert was announced on Friday by the FDA and the case was detected by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
