Laser-Cooling Method Could Reduce Size of Medical Devices, Nanyang Technological University Study
A new method of laser cooling promises to reduce the size and increase the efficiency of a range of devices. Developed over three years at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, the new method could be applied to many systems that require cooling, such as MRI machines, night-vision goggles and satellite cameras.
