Kodiak-Backed Greenlight Biosciences Gets $7 Million

A Medford, Mass. biotechnology company focused on green chemistry has landed $7 million in funding, federal documents show. GreenLight Biosciences Inc., a privately-held biotech founded in 2008 by Andrey Zarur, a general partner of Kodiak Venture Partners and CEO of GreenLight, secured the equity-only financing from two investors, according to documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
