KMR Group Release: Improve Site Selection With Enhanced Site Scorecard

CHICAGO, Illinois, February 18, 2015 – KMR Group has just made significant enhancements to its Site Scorecard Application. Site Scorecard contains the industry’s only source for vetted global site performance data on registration-based clinical trials, providing companies with industry aggregated details on a given site’s clinical trial performance.

Evaluating and selecting sites is of great importance for all involved with running clinical trials. Site Scorecard uses a performance based approach to help companies create a list of potential sites based on criteria important to the user such as how many subjects the site has enrolled, or how quickly a site can startup or randomize patients along with associated contact information.

New additions to the scorecard include the new metric of Site Startup. Knowing how fast a site can get started is critical to trial planning, and can help avoid delays in the overall trial timeline. Companies seeking to get sites up and running quickly can access sites with short Site Startup timelines with a click of a button.

Each site in the Site Scorecard application has a unique scorecard for every disease in which they have conducted trials. The “scorecard” is the perfect risk management tool for trial planning as it provides a reference point for the site on what it has been able to achieve in past studies. It can also be used for contracting with the site and setting realistic recruitment expectations for the site. With this in mind, the recent enhancements have placed three ways of viewing a site’s performance side by side for easy assessment.

Using information from Site Scorecard, biopharma and CROs are able to select top performing sites, by region or by country, for the specific disease of interest. This level of performance detail is not available from public sources, and is only offered through KMR Group.

With even more ways to assess performance, and an interface to help users understand the big picture along with specific performance details for informed site selection, the enhanced Site Scorecard is sure to be an invaluable resource for the industry.
