Kessler Foundation Study Aims To Improve Learning Among Adolescents With Brain Injury

EAST HANOVER, N.J., Oct. 25, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kessler Foundation, a global leader in rehabilitation research, and Children's Specialized Hospital, the nation's leading provider of inpatient and outpatient care for children facing special health challenges, are actively recruiting participants for research studies.

"Children and adolescents who've sustained a brain injury may show a range of cognitive complications for years afterward. Memory problems in particular, can adversely affect how children perform in a variety of settings, including academic learning," said John DeLuca, PhD, senior VP of Research & Training at Kessler Foundation. "The goal our research is to identify specific strategies that help them better manage these deficits."
