REDONDO BEACH, Calif., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Radlink, Inc., a supplier of affordable medical imaging systems to healthcare providers, today announced the election of Judith D. Licklider to their board of directors.

Licklider joins Thomas Hacking, chairman and chief executive officer, A. Redmond "Rusty" Doms, Jr., Joe Davis, Dr. Ralph Hutchings, Dr. Peter Julien and Richard Gerlach.

Licklider has more than 35 years of experience as a business executive and board member at various organizations. She was a training director at Sawyer Business College, spent five years in the marketing division at IBM and was the founder of Cyberlink Voice Messaging. In addition, she has served on the board of directors for a number of major organizations in Los Angeles, including the Saint John's Health Center Foundation, the Community Advisory Committee for Special Education, Los Angeles Youth Programs, and the development board for Marymount High School.

Licklider earned a bachelor of science degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a masters of education degree from Duquesne University.

"Judy's formidable academic and professional backgrounds make her a dynamic addition to our distinguished board of directors," said Tom Hacking, chairman and CEO of Radlink. "Her experience as a corporate executive and technology entrepreneur will be particularly valuable to us as we build on the strong foundation we created in 2006 and really drive corporate growth in 2007."

Radlink has been garnering national attention in the healthcare imaging marketplace for the past year due to the highly successful introduction of its CR Pro(TM) machine. The CR Pro utilizes sealed fiber-optic laser technology to obtain high-resolution, high-quality digital x-ray images at a substantially lower cost than other options in the marketplace.

Last month, the company generated considerable buzz at the 92nd Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America in Chicago with its introduction of the Pro Imaging(TM) product line, a cost-effective hardware and software solution that enables physician offices to convert from film-based x-ray imaging to a total digital environment. The new Pro Imaging turnkey software offering includes a suite of applications that allow physician offices to manage the archival, transmission and display of digital x-ray images.

Radlink is a Redondo Beach-based company that provides a wide range of medical film-to-digital image conversion, storage and delivery services to healthcare providers. The company markets its products and services to customers involved in medical film diagnostics worldwide, including radiology groups, physicians, diagnostic imaging centers, hospitals and health clinics.
