SUDBURY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Proveris Scientific Corporation, developer of the SprayVIEW® Spray Characterization System, Viota™ software platform, and other patented automated measurement solutions for pharmaceutical spray drug product testing, announced today that judgment entered against InnovaSystems, Inc. of Moorestown, NJ for infringement of U.S. Patent No. 6,785,400 granted to Proveris in 2004 by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Proveris’ patented technology for spray pattern and plume geometry automates, accelerates and increases the accuracy of the testing of pharmaceutical spray drug products, including nasal spray pumps, oral spray pumps, and metered dose inhalers. The judgment, entered by the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, permanently prohibits InnovaSystems from manufacturing, marketing, offering to sell, and selling its infringing Optical Spray Analyzer product, and permanently enjoins InnovaSystems from servicing the infringing products that it has sold.
