John Wayne Cancer Institute Auxiliary To Honor Dr. Marilou Terpenning And Dan Hay At Oct. 23 Membership Luncheon & Boutique

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Oct. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The John Wayne Cancer Institute Auxiliary (JWCIA) will honor Marilou Terpenning, MD, John Wayne Cancer Institute oncologist, with the Angel Award; and Dan Hay, president and CEO of Premier Girls Fastpitch and Surf City Tourneys, Inc., with the Public Service Award at its Annual Membership Luncheon and Boutique, Oct. 23, 2014, announced Auxiliary president Anita Swift. Prior to the luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, guests will enjoy a holiday boutique featuring fine and costume jewelry, clothing, accessories and other items ideal for gift-giving. Vendors will donate a portion of their proceeds to JWCIA.  JWCIA board members Marisol Zarco and Katie Lewis, chair. 

Marilou Terpenning, M.D., F.A.C.P., president and CEO of Santa Monica Hematology-Oncology Consultants, which she founded in 1988, receives the Angel Award.

Public Service Award recipient Dan Hay is president and CEO of Premier Girls Fastpitch, Inc. and Surf City Tourneys, Inc. Both companies specialize in providing college recruitable events and venues for female student athletes in the sport of fastpitch softball.
