PENNSAUKEN, N.J., Jan. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Jeb Connor has been named Chairman and CEO of Cerionx, Inc., an advanced technology company dedicated to the development of state-of-the-art products for laboratory research applications in BioPharma and life sciences.

"Jeb has a proven track record in leading and growing young companies," said Paul Hensley, Founder, President and Chief Technology Officer, Cerionx. "His insight and management expertise will be invaluable now that we've brought our technology to market."

Connor brings a wealth of executive experience in the life science technology and IT markets. Prior to joining Cerionx, he held the position of Chairman and CEO at Panacya, Inc., a next-generation systems management software company. While with Panacya, he served as the founding outside board member of Synthematix, a life-science software company. Formerly, Connor was CEO for EMAX Solution Partners, where he led it from start-up to be the leading enterprise materials and supply chain management software platform for global drug discovery research operations.

Earlier positions include co-founding Automated Compliance Systems as well as executive vice president of strategic accounts at ETTC, a $100 million environmental engineering, remediation and laboratory services firm acquired by Waste Management, Inc. Connor began his career with Hewlett-Packard (now Agilent Technologies) where he held leadership positions in sales and marketing and was the general manager for their global lab automation systems business.

"Cerionx is an innovative company with a novel technology. Jeb's diverse strategic and operating experience comes at the perfect time as we expand our presence and our sales accelerate in the drug discovery market," added Bill Gust, member of the Cerionx Board of Directors and Managing General Partner, Anthem Capital Management.
