SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Isodry® dental isolation system was named a Pride Institute Best of Class Technology Award winner for 2013. The awards recognize dental products that dramatically improve workflow for the dentist and improve results for the patient. This year’s award-winners were announced in the July 2013 issue of Dental Products Report magazine. Designed and manufactured by Isolite Systems in the USA, Isodry is one of 18 honorees to be named to this year’s list. Proper dental isolation is important to dental procedures because it minimizes contamination thereby contributing to clinical success. The Isodry dental isolation system is a proven, easy-to-use alternative to traditional forms of dental isolation, such as the rubber dam or manual suction and retraction. The system aids in dental procedures by improving patient management and giving dental professionals unprecedented control of the oral environment: keeping the patient mouth open, improving visibility, controlling suction and oral humidity, and minimizing sources of contamination.
