Invitrogen Corporation Continues Distribution of Products Despite Fires

CARLSBAD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Invitrogen Corporation (NASDAQ:IVGN) announced today that it continues to ship products to customers and maintain global supply chain operations despite a series of wildfires near its headquarters in San Diego County. While the Carlsbad facility is closed to the majority of Invitrogen employees, distribution personnel continue to work from that site. In addition, regular distribution continues from the company’s east coast United States location in Frederick, Maryland and other warehousing sites around the world.
