Igantia Therapeutics, a women's health and research company, was recently admitted to the 501(c)(3) non-profit Fogarty Institute for Innovation. The Institute carefully selects and invites exceptionally innovative and important start-up companies to reside at the Institute where they are provided with support as they transform their ideas into revolutionary medical technologies that will help patients. Igantia was selected for its plan to revolutionize the women's health industry by developing a first of its kind medical device technology for the treatment and study of an age related ailment that effects virtually all women -- hot flashes.

With the support of the Fogarty Institute's world class mentors, the company will work to receive proof-of-concept validation to assist in securing funding and awarded grants.
