Identa Corporation Unveils New Amphetamine Detector Product - Poland Seen As First Major Marketplace

JERUSALEM, May 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- IDenta Corp. said today that it has begun production and delivery of a new product for the detection of amphetamines.

The announcement comes after a recent series of successful tests with law enforcement agencies in Poland, and is the second major product introduction for IDenta this week.

"Law enforcement agencies in Eastern Europe, and particularly Poland, are confronting a very serious outbreak of designer drugs throughout their countries," explained IDenta CEO Yaacov Shoham. "We are very pleased to have been able to prove the effectiveness and reliability of our products once again to the Polish authorities. The drug abuse problem in Eastern Europe and particularly Poland has seen exponential growth since the late 1990's.

Amphetamines, also known as speed, are potent psychomotor stimulants that cause the release of the excitatory neurotransmitters. More than any other illegal drug, speed is associated with violence and anti-social behavior.
