IDBS E-WorkBook Suite Is Chosen As The Winner Of The 2008 SelectScience Scientists' Choice Award For Best Drug Discovery Product

Guildford, UK, 26 September 2008 - IDBS today announced that they are the proud winners of the SelectScience Scientists' Choice Award for Best Drug Discovery Product 2008, for their flagship E-WorkBook product Suite. The E-WorkBook Suite is a scalable, fully searchable enterprise data management solution, handling access to all research data from compound through to candidate. The E-WorkBook Suite was voted as the winner in the product category by its loyal customer base.

IDBS' E-WorkBook Suite has a diverse customer base now estimated at over 3,500 users globally, and customers, as diverse at Pfizer to the University of Nottingham, are now actively using E-WorkBook to support their data management needs. Comprised of E-WorkBook, BioBook and ChemBook, IDBS’ E-WorkBook Suite is an integrated system with specific extensions to support different research groups making the product entirely configurable. This electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) allows for greater productivity for research scientists by automating data capture and storage, as well as permitting the capture of corporate data, information and knowledge is in one secure infrastructure. Furthermore, combined with specific functionality, E-WorkBook Suite promotes regulatory compliance and increasing organizational efficiency, offering greater search flexibility.
