Human Genome Sciences, Inc. Completes Offering of $494.5 Million of Convertible Senior Notes

ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Human Genome Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: HGSI) today announced the completion of its offering and sale of $494.5 million in aggregate principal amount of 3.00% Convertible Senior Notes due 2018 pursuant to a registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. This includes the exercise in full by the underwriters of their option to purchase $64.5 million aggregate principal amount of the notes.
