Hugo Beck And Aera Exhibit High-Speed Packaging Applications At The ALL4PACK Paris

Dettingen/Erms, October 17, 2016 – Hugo Beck, a leading manufacturer of flowpack, film packaging, and post-print processing systems, is placing its new robot-assisted automation system for horizontal film packaging centre stage during ALL4PACK (Paris Nord Villepinte, 14-17 November 2016). Accordingly, Hugo Beck's presence on the trade fair stand of Aera (6 R 108), its long-established distributor in France, will include high-speed robot technology for automated product infeed.

Greater automation is a key trend in packaging applications, too. With that in mind, Aera and Hugo Beck will show one possible application from the confectionery industry, which will involve the demonstration of a four-axial parallel robot in combination with Hugo Beck's servo X side sealer. The maximum mechanical output stands at 12,000 cycles per hour. At an unprecedented availability, the picker operates faster and more reliably than any popular alternative. Tasks that in the past were generally performed manually are executed by the robotic system easily and with fully repeatable results.

Hugo Beck's fully-automated feeder system can be integrated across sectors into the packaging line of companies from the post-print processing, pharmaceutical, medical device, cosmetic, and food industries, etc. With a load-bearing capacity of up to eight kilograms, the robot locates, sorts and dispenses a diverse range of 3D products and packaging in large or small quantities. Washdown design, IP65 rating, and corrosion protection guarantee maximum hygiene standards at all times. The solution thus deals with a wide range of applications with consummate ease.

Aera is also presenting bagged and shrink-wrapped packaging applications with machines from Hugo Beck in conjunction with films designed for perfect compatibility as an end-to-end solution from a single source.
