Panel: One Young Man’s Search For a Cure Josh Sommer,Executive Director, Chordoma Foundation

Seven years ago, Josh Sommer found out that he had chordoma, a rare cancer of the skull and spine with a 30% cure rate and no approved drugs. He then went to work in the top chordoma lab in the country. Disappointed by how much research was going on and by the lack of coordination between researchers, he and his mother founded the Chordoma Foundation. Now he is pushing scientists to make faster progress at understanding chordoma and making presentations to big drug makers like Sanofi SNY -0.43%. Watch below to hear him tell his story himself.
