Hitachi Aloka Medical, Ltd. Introduces Diagnostic Ultrasound System F37

TOKYO, Feb. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Hitachi Aloka Medical, Ltd. announced the release of a new digital diagnostic ultrasound system, F37. F37 was developed focusing on contributing to primary care, such as in clinics and examination institutions. Our new, compact product aims to expand sales boundaries in developing countries and to pioneer new users of diagnostic ultrasound.

Product Features

1. Compact Design
F37 is as compact as 43 cm wide and 58 cm deep, able to fit in tight office space. On the side of the system there is a side pocket that can hold probe and ECG cables or foot switches, allowing easy storing of small items. Moreover, safe and smooth mobility of the system is enabled on account of its light weight of 65 kg, the easy-to-hold hand grips on the back of the system, and large wheels.

2. Easy Operation
The layout of the operation panel was designed so that even first-time users can naturally operate the system. The freely customizable operation panel offers a more simple and comfortable examination environment, leading to higher efficiency.

Care was taken also for ergonomic usability. Examinations can be performed in a natural posture, reducing burden on the examiner. In addition, a large-capacity HDD was adopted for keeping record of everyday exam information.

3. Smart Imaging
Broadband Harmonics (BbH) attains both high sensitivity and resolution, delivering images with minimal artifacts. Functions inherited from higher-class models such as Adaptive Image Processing (AIP) and Spatial Compound Imaging (SCI) support acquiring optimum images of the exam target. Furthermore, Image Optimizer allows for concentrated examinations by simplifying image adjustments.

The diagnostic ultrasound system F37: a pursued style with imaging features most usable for daily examinations. With our new member of diagnostic ultrasound systems, our enriched product lineup will continue contributing to diffusing further ultrasound diagnosis and raising medical standards around the world.

The F37 will be available for delivery in February 2012.
