Highland Pharmaceuticals Creates Meth-proof Drug
Maryland Heights-based pharmaceutical company Highland Pharmaceuticals developed a new drug that cannot be made into meth, KMOX reports. The company was able to lock down the pseudoephedrine molecule, which also is a key ingredient in producing methamphetamine. The new drug, called Tarex, should be on shelves by the summer.
