Heat Biologics Announces Closing of Initial Public Offering of 2,500,000 Shares of Common Stock

CHAPEL HILL, NC--(Marketwired - July 29, 2013) - Heat Biologics, Inc. (NASDAQ: HTBX), a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of novel cancer immunotherapies, today announced the closing of its initial public offering of 2,500,000 shares of its common stock at an initial public offering price of $10.00 per share. The gross proceeds to Heat Biologics from the offering were $25,000,000, before underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses payable by Heat Biologics. Heat Biologics has granted the representative of the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to 375,000 additional shares of common stock from the Company to cover over-allotments, if any.

Aegis Capital Corp. acted as sole book-running manager for the offering.

Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. acted as a co-manager for the offering.
