May 22, 2013 – The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Boston chapter announces that its second annual Healthcare Forum will focus on “Value Creation During Healthcare Reform.” The provocative panel discussion will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013, 5:00-9:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This year’s presentation will feature a cross-sector panel of Massachusetts-based healthcare industry thought leaders focused on healthcare reform’s challenges and opportunities for payers, providers, manufacturers of drugs and devices, and for information service providers. The speakers will also provide unique insights into patient and system needs in a healthcare marketplace characterized by reform.

Martha Bebinger, healthcare reporter for WBUR, will moderate this dynamic panel, which will include the following thought leaders:

• Michele Bennett, COO, Wool Labs

• Dr. Karen Boudreau, CMO, Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan

• Anne Fitzgerald, VP, Network Development, Brigham and Women's Health Care

• Buket Grau, Senior Director, Program Leadership and Management, Biogen Idec

“The 2013 Boston Healthcare Forum is designed to spark dialogue among attendees and the broader healthcare community here in Massachusetts as the new era of healthcare reform unfolds. With Massachusetts leading the way, we hope to inspire and inform our audience about how value can be created in any and all sectors of healthcare,” said Pat Riordan, President, HBA Boston chapter.
