A super-material that won its creators a Nobel Prize is to be used to create stronger and thinner condoms. Scientists at the University of Manchester are developing a new composite material using graphene and latex for use in condoms. They believe using graphene, which is a single atom thick form of carbon, will allow the contraceptives thinner, stronger and safer.
