Gary Robinson Joins Allocade, Inc. as Senior VP of Sales

MENLO PARK, CA--(Marketwire - April 05, 2011) - Healthcare industry veteran Gary W. Robinson has joined Allocade, Inc., the developer of the healthcare industry's only expert software system that manages patient itineraries, as the company's new senior vice president of sales. Robinson, 57, who has more than 35 years of executive experience in sales and marketing, will lead and oversee all sales and partnership activities for Allocade's On-Cue® Expert Software System. Robinson joins the company following its recent introduction of new features for the On-Cue System, including expansion into hospital Cardiology and Transport Departments, and enhancements for viewing and interacting with On-Cue's Dynamic Patient Itinerary™ information.

Before joining Allocade, Robinson served as vice president of international sales for Wolters Kluwer Health, where he grew sales internationally through distributors and a direct sales force for cardiology, GI, surgical procedure documentation and CPOE order sets software. Robinson signed the single largest international contract with the State of New South Wales, Australia, to install software in 86 hospitals.

Before joining Wolters Kluwer Health, Robinson was the vice president of sales for VasoNova, where he established a sales network to generate sales for the start-up's vascular catheter guidance system. Prior to this, Robinson was vice president of corporate sales and international for Omnicell, where he established their national accounts program and built up the international distributor network from five to 25 and increased sales by 200 percent over five years. Robinson has also held senior executive sales positions with McKesson, Caremark, Becton Dickinson and American Hospital Supply. Robinson holds a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in marketing from San Diego State University.
