Frozen Embryos Produce More Confident Babies, Zhejiang University Study

Children born from frozen embryos are more sociable, self-dependant and have better communication skills than those conceived naturally or through other forms of fertility treatment, a study has found. Researchers who followed 250 youngsters in China from birth until nursery discovered that those who had been cryo-preserved performed significantly better than those born from a fresh embryo. They even outperformed children who were conceived naturally, they found. Lead author Dr Lan Feng Xing, of Zhejiang University in China, said it should alleviate parents’ fears that youngsters born from frozen embyos may suffer developmental problems.
