Introduced in 2000, the OnCore system is Forte's flagship product and is the result of over a decade of experience working closely with world-class research organizations, including institutions funded by the National Institute of Health's Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) program and NCI-designated cancer centers.

Of the six new customers who have licensed OnCore in the last 12 months, five were academic medical centers.

"This is evidence of a trend among CTSAs and large academic medical centers to implement a unified system for managing the clinical trial portfolio across the enterprise," said Srini Kalluri, Founder, CEO, and Chief Customer Officer at Forte.

OnCore has been long established as the nation's most widely adopted enterprise-class CTMS among academic medical centers, research hospitals, and cancer centers. "Since the beginning, the vision of Forte has been to collaborate to provide the best possible solutions for clinical research operations," said Kalluri. "The addition of our 50th customer affirms our commitment to that vision."

Until 2007, the OnCore community was dominated by cancer centers that benefited from the unique capabilities of the system catering to the stringent requirements of conducting cancer research. As the system evolved to address the needs of multiple research disciplines, the customer community also grew and diversified, often by expanding the use of OnCore from an existing cancer center customer to other research groups within an associated university or institution. With the addition of the 50th customer, it is now in use at 18 multi-disciplinary research organizations, 10 of which are CTSA awardees.

"Many institutions have witnessed the benefits provided at their associated cancer centers and have chosen to implement the system enterprise-wide. We will continue to innovate to ensure that OnCore remains the best solution for cancer centers and academic medical centers," Kalluri said.
