Flu Killed 115 Children Last Season, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Reveals

Children typically don't die from the flu or its complications. Still, U.S. health officials reported Thursday that 115 kids younger than 18 died from flu-related causes during the one-year period that ended Aug. 31. And many of the deaths could have been prevented if the children had been vaccinated against the flu, said the officials from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
