Houston, TX -- Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Fla. will implement the Digisonics Image Management and Structured Reporting Solution across its enterprise for their pediatric echo, pediatric cath, adult echo, adult cath and OB/GYN ultrasound studies. Digisonics was recognized as an ideal choice for Memorial Healthcare System’s needs due to their ability to provide a multi-modality reporting solution within a single system that maintained vendor-neutrality.

The Citrix-based add on, DigiNet Pro, will enable clinicians at Memorial Healthcare System to remotely access the Digisonics Structured Reporting Solution from anywhere at anytime, adding flexibility to their workflow. Advanced image analysis will be available to users via seamless integration with GE EchoPACS, GE 4D-View and Medis. A single click launches the 3rd party application directly from the Digisonics Image Management and Structured Reporting Workstation, with the post-processed images and results saved back into the patient study.

Seamless integration with EPIC EMR via HL7 interfaces for Orders In and Results Out will create a fully electronic workflow. An added upgrade to the Results Out interface, DigiLink, will embed a hyperlink to a PDF copy of the finalized report in the HL7 message. Integration with the facility’s ultrasound machines and cath labs will autopopulate the patient demographics and measurements directly into the Digisonics structured report, reducing manual entry time and eliminating the potential for entry errors. As a result, Memorial Healthcare System will enjoy a seamless digital workflow with improved efficiency, accuracy and turnaround times.
