Finesse Joins HART Communication Foundation

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Finesse, a manufacturer of measurement and control solutions for life science applications, announced today that it has joined the HART Communication Foundation, in order to pursue an active role in the application of HART technology to the life science industry.

"The ability of HART enabled devices to introduce predictive sensor diagnostics on critical measurements such as pH and Dissolved Oxygen can provide the life science industry with vastly improved process quality and reliability," said Larry West, Executive V.P. Sales at Finesse. "While we will continue to support the specialized role of bus technologies such as Foundation fieldbus, we have found that the ease of use, reduced cost, backwards compatibility, and reliable performance of HART render it an ideal solution for the life science industry," added West.
