Faulty Gene "Could Help Halt Cancer Tumors"

A faulty gene that causes kidney cancer may help scientists work out how to stop tumors from growing. Researchers from Imperial College London studied patients with the faulty gene and found the kidney cells behaved as though they were starved of oxygen - setting off a chain of events that could make them cancerous.
