Ezpedo Release: Award-winning Pediatric Dental Innovation Company Rebrands To Sprig Oral Health Technologies

LOOMIS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EZPEDO, the dental products company that invented the pediatric Zirconia crown, is now Sprig Oral Health Technologies (Sprig). The company has experienced strong growth over the last few years and today continues to develop and sell the market’s preferred pediatric Zirconia crowns —EZCrowns. Made from naturally occurring Zirconia, the revolutionary design of Sprig’s EZCrowns functions and appears like natural teeth while offering the best retention and ease-of-seating in the industry.

“The rebrand represents our evolution as an organization from a crown company to a pediatric dental technology company,” said Sprig CEO Brenda Hansen. “The name Sprig signifies new growth. It truly illustrates our dedication to bringing innovation, fresh thinking, new products and educational offerings to pediatric dentistry. We believe the next generation should receive next generation care.”

As parents are learning more, they are becoming increasingly concerned about the issue of biocompatibility — seeking products that are designed to be safer and healthier for their children. Sprig’s products and materials are developed with a focus on biocompatibility. Through a combination of innovative products, education and unparalleled customer service, Sprig is providing dental professionals with the biocompatible technologies and techniques they need to grow their practices and deliver ever-better care to the most important patients: our kids.

“Our crowns and teaching programs are the best and most trusted in the industry, but as dentists, it is in our DNA to innovate — to do things better, faster, simpler, safer and smarter, while at the same time improving the quality of care for our patients,” said Sprig Co-founder Dr. Jeff Fisher. “But there’s still so much to do — so many products and techniques to be created or improved — and we are doing just that under the new Sprig brand.”

As part of the rebrand, Sprig changed the name of its clinical education workshop program, formerly EZPEDO University (EZPU), to Sprig University (Sprig U). Hosted at venues around the world and taught by a faculty of practicing dentists, the program helps dental professionals master the preparation and placement of pediatric Zirconia crowns, connect with new colleagues and learn new patient communication and marketing techniques that can help them grow their practices.

Sprig also changed the name and scope of its magazine, formerly EZPEDO Magazine. The new Shift Magazine is pediatric dentistry’s only news and lifestyle publication and will take readers to the front lines of pediatric innovation. Released biannually, the magazine brings readers technical news and human-interest stories from around the industry, offering critical perspectives from dentists, patients and experts.

“All of these changes reflect our commitment to catalyzing innovation in our industry,” said Sprig Co-founder Dr. John Hansen. “We’re excited to continue working with our colleagues and our expanding customer base as we grow into the future as Sprig.”
