All Knurr product is based on Extron's ISO 13485 certified design and manufacturing processes. This gives a significant advantage to OEM manufacturers of medical procedure and monitoring equipment who require a higher level of Quality Management Systems (QMS) in the engineering and manufacture of specialized carts which house their equipment.

Extron's CEO, Sandeep Duggal, stated, "Extron's designs are internationally recognized, and our ISO 13485 certification is a great benefit for our customers worldwide.  It allows companies marketing in the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, and Australia to be assured of the quality of the Knurr medical electronics carts we design and build for them.  Our library of proven modular designs allows us to offer the benefits of volume pricing with a lower MOQ."

Randy Duke, Extron's VP of Business Development went on to explain, "It also demonstrates Extron's leadership within the industry. By designing and building our products to ISO 13485 standards, we assure our OEM customers of a level of quality unmatched by most other manufacturers of medical electronics carts and electronics enclosures.  Additionally, our system integration services can significantly enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our clients' new product offerings, simplifying their supply chain management, accelerating their time to market, and improving product release cycles."

A sample of Extron's innovative medical electronics cart offerings will be showcased at MedTech World/MD&M West, booth #824, on February 9-11, 2016, in Anaheim, CA.
