Explora BioLabs Signs Facility Lease In Sorrento Valley
SAN DIEGO, CA — Explora BioLabs, Inc., San Diego’s leading preclinical contract research and vivarium rental provider, announces the signing of a lease for a 14,000 square foot, purpose-built facility in Sorrento Valley.
This facility, part of the Coast 9 property owned and managed by BioMed Realty Trust, Inc., will house the new headquarters and research operations of Explora BioLabs and provide additional rental vivarium housing for rodents used in critical preclinical studies. Commencement of operations is anticipated to be summer of 2015.

With the opening of its state-of-the-art Coast 9 facility, Explora will operate over 40,000 square feet of vivarium space in San Diego. Explora will continue to operate its three other rental vivarium facilities in Mission Bay and on Torrey Pines Mesa.
