EXACT Sciences Corporation Pulls in $57.8 Million

MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Exact Sciences Corp. (Nasdaq: EXAS) today announced that it has completed its previously announced underwritten public offering of its common stock at a price of $9.75 per share to the public.

Due to the exercise in full of the underwriters’ over-allotment option, the company sold a total of 6,325,000 shares of common stock in the offering for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $61.7 million and received approximately $ 57.8 million of net proceeds from the offering, after deducting the underwriting discount and estimated expenses of the offering payable by the company. Jefferies & Company, Inc. and Robert W. Baird & Co. Incorporated acted as joint book-running managers in the offering. William Blair & Company, L.L.C. and JMP Securities LLC acted as co-managers for the offering.
