European Molecular Biology Laboratory Study Suggests Serotonin Plays a Role in SIDS

LA Times -- Mice genetically engineered to overproduce the brain chemical serotonin died at an early age after developing symptoms similar to those of sudden infant death syndrome, suggesting improper regulation of serotonin may cause SIDS in humans.
