Epizyme Announces Closing of Initial Public Offering and Full Exercise of Over-Allotment Option

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., June 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Epizyme, Inc. (NASDAQ: EPZM) today announced the closing of its initial public offering of 5,913,300 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $15.00 per share, before underwriting discounts, including 771,300 shares of common stock issued upon the exercise in full by the underwriters of their option to purchase additional shares at the same price to cover over-allotments. As a result, aggregate net proceeds to the Company, after underwriting discounts and commissions and other estimated offering expenses, will be approximately $79.8 million.

Citigroup, Cowen and Company and Leerink Swann LLC acted as joint book-running managers for the offering. JMP Securities LLC and Wedbush Securities Inc. acted as co-managers.
