CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 2006--EPIX Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: EPIX - News), a developer of innovative pharmaceuticals for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) which recently announced a definitive agreement to merge with Predix Pharmaceuticals Holdings, Inc., today announced that it has scheduled its Annual Meeting for August 15, 2006, at which EPIX shareholders will consider the proposed merger with Predix. The meeting will be held at the offices of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., One Financial Center, Boston, Massachusetts, at 10:00 a.m., EDT. The joint proxy statement/prospectus was mailed on or about July 18, 2006 to stockholders of EPIX and Predix seeking their approval for the transaction.
