Endo International Employees Participate In 2nd Annual "Endo Gives" Day Of Volunteering, Serving The Communities Where They Live And Work

Nearly 650 Employees Volunteer Across 12 Communities to Benefit 21 Non-Profit Organizations

DUBLIN, May 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Employees of Endo International plc (NASDAQ: ENDP) (TSX: ENL) are joining together today to donate their workday to assist and support organizations that provide benefit to those in need in Endo's local communities as part of the 2nd Annual Endo Gives Day. Employee activities will benefit 21 non-profit organizations in 12 communities around the world.

"Our vision at Endo is to improve the lives of the patients we serve. We accomplish this not only through the medicines we provide, but by also working within the local communities," said Rajiv De Silva, President and CEO of Endo. "Endo Gives Day is special because it enables our employees to make a difference in the communities where they live and work, supporting their own neighbors and local organizations. As a team, we at Endo return to work from this day of service with a renewed commitment and dedication to helping patients."

In total, nearly 650 employees of Endo across multiple locations around the world are donating their workday as part of Endo Gives Day, contributing more than 2,000 hours to local charities. Endo Gives Day activities support individuals struggling to secure basic necessities from food to housing and education to healthcare and include the following:

  • Malvern, Pa: At Endo's U.S. headquarters, nearly 200 employees will volunteer at seven organizations across the area, including Chester County Food Bank, The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), Cradles to Crayons, Habitat for Humanity, Main Line Animal Rescue, Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA and The Pathway School. At CHOP, Endo employees are working with hospitalized children and their families, playing games and helping them with arts and crafts that they can use to decorate their rooms.
  • Dublin, Ireland: At Endo's global headquarters, employees will volunteer at Barretstown Camp, a specially designed camp that provides therapeutic recreation programs for children with serious illnesses and their families. The Dublin-based volunteers will donate their time painting, gardening and cleaning the facility, as well as present a 2,256 (Euro) donation, which was raised through an employee-led bake sale.
  • Huntsville, Ala.: Employees at Qualitest, Endo's U.S. generics business, are partnering for the second consecutive year with Manna House, which provides food, clothes and household goods to Huntsville residents in need. Over three weeks, employees will hold a non-perishable food drive for Manna House, and then they will spend the day stocking shelves and bagging and distributing food.

In addition to these three locations, Endo employees are participating in Endo Gives Day in Athlone, Ireland; San Jose, Calif.; Minnetonka, Minn.; Charlotte, N.C.; Cranbury, N.J.; Rye, N.Y.; Horsham, Pa.; Montreal, Canada; and The Netherlands.
