For Elixir Medical, Milpitas had just the right mix that it sought in a new home.
The Sunnyvale-based medical device company, which focuses on developing drug-eluting stent systems for cardiovascular patients, recently leased a 53,666-square-foot building at 920 N. McCarthy Blvd., part of Irvine Company's McCarthy Center office park. It's a big step up for its footprint from Elixir's current space, which totals about 24,450 square feet in two buildings.
