Eksigent Technologies Appoints David Weber As CEO, President And Director

DUBLIN, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 24, 2006--Eksigent Technologies, LLC, creator of advanced nanofluidic technologies for life science research and medical device applications, announced today that David Weber has joined the company as CEO, President and Director.

Weber joins the company from San Diego-based Stratagene Corporation, where he was Vice President of Global Marketing and Business Development and member of the Corporate Executive Committee. He also served as President of the Americas at Amersham Biosciences from 2001 to 2004.

Weber brings to Eksigent more than 30 years experience in the life science and biotechnology industries, with sales and marketing positions at companies ranging in size from start-up to over $300 million in annual sales.
