EBD Group Release: Germany Welcomes Advanced Medical Technology Industry Leaders to Duesseldorf in May for EuroMedtech™ 2013

12/18/2012 9:03:32 AM

ZURICH & DUESSELDORF, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Leaders from the international medical technology industry will gather May 7–8 in Duesseldorf, Germany, for the fifth annual EuroMedtech™ partnering conference. In 2012, the conference hosted more than 300 delegates representing 205 companies from 22 countries who engaged in 755 one-to-one partnering meetings. In addition to insightful workshops and panel sessions, the event featured 34 presentations by medtech companies seeking financing, licensing opportunities or partners for advancing product development. "The consumerization of medical products has expanded its reach, in part due to the advances in technology which give greater access to advanced medical products to more far reaching communities around the world. And with this, there is increased desire for medical products that make people’s lives easier day-to-day," said Carola Schropp, President, EBD Group. "EuroMedtech is devoted to bringing together investors and manufacturers with innovative companies developing novel technologies and devices to meet this need."
