E-Z-EM Adds EmpowerMR Injector to Amerinet Group Purchasing Contract

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--E-Z-EM, Inc. (NASDAQ:EZEM) today announced that Amerinet, one of the nation's largest group purchasing organizations, has added the Company’s EmpowerMR® injector system to the non-exclusive purchasing agreement currently in place for its Empower® line of CT injector systems. This agreement is the first to include EmpowerMR injectors with a major Group Purchase Organization, and will provide Amerinet’s more than 2,100 hospital members access to preferred contract pricing for EmpowerMR injectors. The three-year agreement is effective as of September 15, 2007.
