Dynamic Healthcare Services Acquires HomeTown Oxygen, Pittsburgh, LLC, a Provider of Medical Equipment and Respiratory Therapy Products and Services based in Monroeville, PA

11/14/2012 1:46:49 PM

HARRISBURG, Pa., Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dynamic Healthcare Services, Inc. ("DHS") a portfolio company of GMH Ventures LLC ("GMH") announced today that it acquired HomeTown Oxygen, Pittsburgh, LLC ("HomeTown") of Monroeville, PA on November 8, 2012. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

HomeTown is a full service distributor of medical products and equipment including respiratory and sleep apnea equipment in Pennsylvania.  HomeTown, with locations in Monroeville and Latrobe, was founded in 2007 and has achieved significant growth in its short existence.

HomeTown's strong, regional operation includes the Pennsylvania counties of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Lawrence, Washington, Westmoreland and parts of Indiana and Somerset. The company's rapid growth is based on a commitment to outstanding service and constant communication to its loyal database of customers and referral sources, which will be integrated with DHS's operations.

DHS was formed in 2000 as the parent company to Central Medical Equipment (Harrisburg) and East Suburban Medical Supply (Pittsburgh), which were originally incorporated in 1981. DHS has grown over the past decade to become a strong regional distributor and provider of home medical equipment, respiratory therapy products and services, and complex rehabilitation products and services in the western and central Pennsylvania markets.  After the HomeTown acquisition, DHS will have approximately 100 employees with facilities throughout Pennsylvania.

"Mike Conner and his HomeTown team have an outstanding service-oriented reputation amongst both its customers and industry partners. When you combine that with our experience, infrastructure and additional resources, we are poised to provide superior products and services to a much broader market," commented Terry Luft, President and CEO of DHS.

"We are extremely excited to join DHS and the GMH Ventures family of companies," stated Mike Conner, President of HomeTown. "Our success and reputation has always been based on our strong and unwavering commitment of quality, service and communication to our customers. Joining DHS will enhance what we have always done well and also provide us with a solid infrastructure of business support and management resources as we continue to grow and expand into more markets throughout the region," finished Conner.

Michael Holloway, Executive Vice President of GMH, stated, "We have strategically and systematically increased our reach into the Pennsylvania HME space from the beginning of our partnership with DHS. Our strength is not only in providing a solid fiscal foundation, but strong management and business support services to all of our new HME partners.  We continue to seek out more opportunities to fuel our market expansion and fiscal growth in the HME space in 2013," added Holloway.
