DVS Sciences Appoints Joseph Victor as President and CEO
Mr. Victor will assume the role of President and CEO from Dr. Scott Tanner, co-founder of DVS Sciences. “Our Board and I are delighted to welcome Joe to DVS Sciences and believe he is the ideal person to lead the company through its next phase of growth and expansion in the Life Sciences markets,” said Dr. Tanner. With Mr. Victor’s appointment, Dr. Tanner has transitioned to the role of Chief Technology Officer and General Manager of the company’s Canadian operations providing additional focus on the research and development of the mass cytometry technology platform at DVS Sciences.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Victor said, “This is a truly exciting opportunity. The CyTOF mass cytometry platform clearly holds tremendous promise in enabling scientists to better understand the cellular dynamics of disease states, stem cells and other biologically relevant systems. Mr. Victor will be located in the DVS Sciences global headquarters in Sunnyvale, California. He holds an MBA from UCLA and MS and BS degrees in engineering from the University of Washington.
